Co-Op City

Co-op City is a massive housing development located in the Northeastern section of the Bronx, New York. The development consists of thirtyfive high-rise buildings varying from 24 to 33 stories each. The ethnic makeup of Co-op City is largely African-American and Hispanic. However, recently "Co-op" (as it is often called by people in the vicinity) has recently seen an influx of Russian immigrants.
